Alexis Neko
~slowly reaching the peak of the hill, soft green eyes now cast out to veiw upon a mist shrouded Keep a fair 30miles below her, her
much beloved home now lies within her grasp as she lightly urges her
ride onward~
Home.... Its good to be able to see once again.. To hear the sounds of TeeB and Cristiana's tongues as they bark at either their
current meal or the students...
~she smiles as she continues to remind herself of the things she's missed out, knowing that either TeeB or Cristiana will be more than happy to fill her in with details til
her ears burst~
~again she smiles at the possible thought that she might now see
new faces that where not there before~ ... I do hope that there are new members..
~slowly, not in any rush, her steed walks down the old dirt cobble road.. following the ups and downs.. lefts and rights
of its serpentine path
~ Boy won't Cristiana be surprised to again see my face x.x .. lol ..
~she laughs lightly wondering how much Cristiana may have changed
in these past **rp time :-P** several years.. along with TeeB~
Hhmmm... hopefully not too much .. for I loved the way she was... her and
her mysterious ways .. always staying in the shadows.. :-) ....
although i think she'll be mad when I tell her where i've been all this time.... but.....
~her voice drops as she reaches into a pouch as her side only to
let her fingers run over an item that she got solely for Cristiana~ ..
I do hope that this will make up for what's been missed or done.....
~her slender fingers slowly release the object in her pouch as she removes her hand to take hold of reins... looking up now to see her home within roughly a 20 mile journey~ .. its just about over...
and finally.. I will have returned home, where I shall remain for the rest of my days...with the ppl that I love........
Elora Delayne
Elora Delayne leaned up against the balcony and gazed at the stars.
She had been very miserable and alone as of late. She sometimes
sought out solitude over the company of others. This was just one of
those times. Laht had gone off somewhere giving Elora time to
herself. Time enough to figure out and heal whatever it was eating
away at her. It required lots of long walks, constant self-analysis,
and the recalling of memories from the past.
Previously on one of her walks she had seen Cristiana in the hallway.
She seemed upset about something. Elora had meant to go after her but
then reconsidered. Cristiana had helped her in the past with some of
her hurts, so it would be only right that she return the kindness. By
the time she caught up with Cristiana, she was in her room. Elora
didn't feel right about disturbing her. So instead left a white rose
at her doorstep. Elora had been in the garden earlier and couldn't
control herself from picking a few flowers. A little something to
help with the loneliness she supposed. Now one could at least bring a
small smile to another. It was the very least she could do.
It had been very quiet and uneventful around here lately. No doubt it
only seemed that way do to her own seclusion.
The sky was remarkably bright tonight. The moon and stars were
glowing so bright that it almost felt that it were daytime. That the
sun itself was beaming down at her, warming her with its rays. Of
course it was nothing more than her imagination. She had long ago
forgotten what the sun felt like. Elora loved nights like these.
Suddenly her attention was diverted away from the night sky. And her
gaze settled upon the hill where she thought she saw something.
Unlike the clear sky, the ground was a bit misty, making it hard to
determine what she saw. Though she could not make it out she was sure
someone was making there way towards the keep. She felt it, not a
foreboding presence, but almost familiar. She continued to watch the
grounds that she might be able to see who was approaching. Finally a
figure came forth. With wide eyes Elora viewed the figure. It became
clearer as it drew near. It was Alexis Neko. Elora smiled to herself
knowing what this meant. She had been gone for quite some time. Many
here would be very happy for Alexis' return. Elora quickly gathered
her skirts and headed towards the front door to welcome a friend home.
Railyn
Invisible to mortal eye Railyn stood in the safety of
the shadows. If she didn't move, no one would know she
was here. Not that she had any real reason to flee,
she was not the only Lessien Mithrandirean who
belonged also to another clan. Her guilt lay in that
of her ward, a vampyress of a very young age, new yet
to the world of the dark blood. The Duke himself had
given her a vampire name after... after her...
Where was Rae now? Wandering somewhere in the city of
Ravenblack. Railyn cursed herself for not acquiring
telepathy, it would definately be much easier to
locate her ward then without having to give up too
much.
But what was too much? Was it too much to take care of
another? Then again, Railyn was not too old a
vampyress herself. She never understood why the Duc de
Beljeferon had entrusted her with his childer. Why not
one of Rae's sibling vampyres? Or why not he himself?
Why her? Why Railyn of all people? The vampyress with
no history, no family... no one...
No she wasn't really alone. She had the Lessien
Mithrandir Clan, she had Clan de Beljeferon, so why
did she have the constant pang that she was alone? She
was only alone now because she had chosen to be. She
had fled from the crowded halls of the RVRC. It was
she was chose to evade off the path to Centari Keep
and head here. It had been her choice to lurk in the
shadows away from everyone else... Personally she
wondered if anyone had known of her arrival tonight.
An approaching form in the distant forced her out of
her self pity. A woman on horseback. Focusing her
vampyric sight she knew who it was at once... Alexis
Neko... but would the vampyress remember her?
Alexis had been her teacher at Centari Keep. But that
had been years ago. She had left... left to embark on
a journey to goodness knows where for her own reasons.
How would she react when she saw her former student
here in Lessien Mithrandir Castle?
Then again, it could be amost anyone. Perhaps her self
pity had driven her to disillusion herself that the
wanderer was her former teacher. Perhaps it was
because she feared losing those close to her. She had
lost her entire blood line, making her the new Master
Vampyress.
But she hadn't suceeded much in preserving the
remnants of her blood. Her own childers had died save
Arizce and Blood mage. Was that why she felt some sort
of motherly instinct and attachment to Rae? Her
remaining childers were now old enough to go
awandering on their own. Where they were, she didn't
know. But they knew where to find her. They had chosen
to be clanless and without any problems, enemies as
well as the safety of the walls of a neutral clan.
They didn't believe in the safety. A hold could be
sieged at any time without warning. History had been
evident of that.
Her mind wandered back to the identity of the
traveller. Was she really who Railyn thought she was?
There was only one way to find out.
Swiftly she exited the room at the top of the South
Tower and decended the steps, glided through the
corridors until she arrived in the Entrance Hall.
There she paused at the top of the grand staircase.
Taking in a deep breath, she arrived at the Entrance
doors just as the wanderer on horseback drew up to the
front steps...
